Several local business owners contacted Community Redevelopment Agency Green Market Manager Lori Nolan requesting rental spots for the weekly event on Saturdays. Manager Lori Nolan quickly explains only food and produce products are allowed to be sold at the market and directed the local business owners away from the city of Delray Beach to do business.
When business owners questioned manager Lori Nolan about the other participating non-food vendors such as insurance agents, chiropractors, woodworking crafts, soap crafters, MLM type oils, candle crafters, sea shell crafters, paintings and dog toys manager Lori refused address the unjust unethical policy.
After getting the runaround from management the business owners reached out to CRA Executive Director Renee Jadusingh for clarity multiple times however Executive Director refused to address the unjust unethical policy.
One last shot for local business owners was reaching out Ryan Boylston which is the commissioner of Delray Beaches Community Redevelopment Agency. Commissioner Ryan Boylston never responded to address the unjust unethical policy.
Why would the Community Redevelopment Agency willingly and knowingly mislead local business owners and not address the unjust unethical policy?
Isn’t supporting local businesses the goal with the CRA?
Why has the CRA become so secretive and unethical?
Lots of questions need to be answered. I hope this editorial can help find the answers for residents and small businesses.

From 2010 until Gregg Weiss resignation in 2016, Gregg Weiss was licensed with Morgan Stanley. Gregg Weiss is now licensed with Coastal Equities, Inc. According to FINRA records, Gregg Weiss was permitted to resign from Morgan Stanley on August 1, 2016. Morgan Stanley reported to FINRA that there were allegations regarding Gregg Weiss’ participation in outside activities that were not approved, a reimbursement for an expense that Gregg Weiss said he did not pay, and the late disclosure of certain tax liens reported in 2015.
FINRA reports that two arbitration claims were filed relating to Gregg Weiss’ employment with Morgan Stanley alleging unsuitability with respect to investments from 2010-2016 and/or the unauthorized sale of Goldman Sachs Bonds in 2016. These two claims involving Gregg Weiss’ conduct with Morgan Stanley were both settled. A third claim was filed in 2011, relating to Gregg Weiss’ employment with Raymond James & Associates. This claim alleged suitability, common law fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, negligence, gross negligence, and breach of contract. This claim involving Gregg Weiss’ conduct with Raymond James & Associates was settled in 2012.

I am unfortunately forced to write a review for the first time in my life. I leased a Jeep Wrangler from Schumacher Jeep in Delray Beach FL. While in the finance room I was taken care of by a guy named AJ. He was trying his best to sell me the add on extras as they all do when you buy or lease a vehicle. I did not want them and kept saying no as I never buy these things. I was at the dealership for about 6 hours and was tired and just wanted to get out of there with my new Wrangler and go home for dinner.
He finally said the extra wear an tear plan and wheel and rim protection was what he recommended. I said no no no. Finally he told me it included 2 oil changes and 2 tire rotations annually for the first 2 years. At this point I said yes as that seemed I would get something for my extra monthly payment and just wanted to get out of there. Well guess what, about a month later I received information from Jeep that the tire rotations and oil changes come with the lease! I called AJ on at least 4 occasions, maybe 5 and he never returned my call. I finally went to the dealership and asked to speak to AJ and was told he was busy. I explained that I wanted to return the extra protection plans that I was duped into by false information that AJ gave me.
The employee told me that I would have to contact Allstate as that is the Insurer that handles that, not the dealer. So, I contacted Allstate and they told me that the dealership is where I can take care of that. Imagine that! This was just as the Covid Virus problem started so I was 3 months dealing with this with no resolve with Allstate. Allstate told me that they will contact Schumacher for me and voice my request and they will issue a refund and the amount already paid with my monthly payment. This was going on for 3 months and nothing, no call from Schumacher. I went on facebook the other day and spoke with Veronica who was very nice and said she would let AJ know that I needed a call back. No call.
I messaged Veronica back that evening and told her that AJ never called me. She said she would send another request. I told Veronica at this point I am getting extremely upset and would like to have the GM give me a call the next day and was also messaged by a gentleman named Stan who also assured me that the GM would call me the next day. Well guess what, no call once again. I have never had a company ignore a request like this from a customer before in my life! Not even the decency of returning a call from a customer that bought their product?
I am beyond irritated at this point and my next step is the better business bureau and every social media site I can find so other people can be aware of their practices and not get burned like me. All I want is to cancel this extra add on as I was duped into purchasing it and a refund of what I have spent on it thus far. But guess what? They do not even have the decency to return my many requests for a return phone call!
